The Sudheekshan Foundation is a Non- Profit, Secular Humanitarian Social Service Organization. It was established in the name of a young boy, Chigurupati Sudheekshan, who lost his life in a road accident without fulfilling his dreams at the tender age of 20. The accident occurred on November 3 at 9 a.m. while he was going to his college from Kankipadu to Vijayawada Way in Kanuru, near the engineering college. He struggled for six days to survive and took his last breath on November 8, 2006. This tragic incident led to the formation of the foundation in memory of this young Sudheekshan.

Chigurupati Vimala, mother of this boy, in her unbearable grief, left her teaching profession and formed the social service Organization in the name of her beloved son as the "Sudheekshan Foundation" on the 10th day of the boy’s demise to dedicate her remaining life to social service for serving the poor and needy in all aspects. She is the founder and president of the foundation. This foundation has seven executive committee members.

The Sudheekshan Foundation was registered on November 18th, 2006, under the A.P. Society Registration Act 35 of 2001, at the District Registrar Office, Vijayawada, NTR District, and Andhra Pradesh to spread its activities all over India. Registered Number is 515/ 2006.

The Sudheekshan Foundation was officially inaugurated on January 8, 2007, in the conference hall of the Civil Courts in Vijayawada. The foundation’s main aim is to create lasting changes in society for road safety, health, education, humanity, and empowerment sectors. The foundation’s vision is to create a healthy happy safety knowledgeable society.
